Registered Nurses provide nursing care to patients in hospitals, aged care and other health care facilities, and in the community. The Bachelor of Nursing is the qualification that you need to work as a Registered Nurse in Australia. The Bachelor of nursing runs for 3 years (Or 2 years after completing the Diploma of Nursing). After you complete your Registered Nurse course, you have to apply to the AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) to practice as a Registered Nurse.
